Better Buys for Business, which publishes comparative reviews of document imaging equipment, has awarded an Editor’s Choice rating for the new C522n, C524n, C524dn and C524dtn color laser printers from Lexmark International, Inc.

The new printers are being introduced today and will be featured in Better Buys’ 2006 Color Laser Guide, due out in early November.

"Though priced low, these models are remarkably fast at 20 pages per minutes in both color and black and white, while almost all of their rivals run at speeds of 4 to 8 ppm in color. They also have some superior features that make them more than just minimal printers,” said Better Buys for Business.

The family of color laser printers is among Lexmark’s most affordable yet, with street prices starting at $499. The entire line is network ready, with rated print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute in both color and monochrome.
