OKI® Printing Solutions Products Earn #1 and #2 Rankings in PC World’s August 2005 Top 10 Monochrome Laser Printers

Two monochrome printers from OKI® Printing Solutions recently earned ‘Best Buy’ recommendations in PC World’s August 2005 Top 10 Monochrome Laser Printers roundup, with the B4350 named the number one printer in the small office monochrome lasers category.  The B6200n was ranked the number two workgroup monochrome laser.

This recognition further solidifies Oki Data Americas’ market leadership role and reputation for highly reliable and durable products, which are marketed under the OKI Printing Solutions brand. The company recently won awards and positive reviews from InfoWorld, IT Week, PC News Weekly, Mac Design Magazine and The MFP Report for its various high-performance digital color printers and new color multifunction products (MFPs). 

B4350: “Fast, high-quality printing”
Named the top small office monochrome laser, the versatile B4350 digital monochrome printer saves space and increases productivity in a variety of business environments, while delivering exceptional print speeds and high-quality prints.  In its review, PC World said: “All in all, the B4350 produced the cleanest-looking output we’ve seen from a monochrome laser printer tested recently… and won hands down against other standalone printers in our tests.”

It also kicked out the first text page in a little under 8 seconds, faster than any other current small-office printer… with an LCD navigation display that makes it particularly easy to use.” The B4350 prints up to 23 pages per minute (ppm) , with crisp, clean 1200 x 600 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution. It has a processor speed of 266 MHz, as well as 16 MB memory for standard models and 272 MB for higher-end models.

B6200n: “It’s about balance”
The B6200n digital monochrome printer from OKI Printing Solutions also earned a PC World ‘Best Buy’ and number two ranking, providing affordable, high-performance printing for medium-size workgroups.  In PC World’s summary of the B6200n, it said: “Oki’s reasonably priced workgroup workhorse offers speedy printing,” and that “setup was simple.”
