Explanation of the Usage Menu Counters

What are the counters under the Usage Menu actually counting?
USAGE MENU
TOTAL PAGE COUNT 4097
TRAY1 PAGE COUNT 3559
TRAY2 PAGE COUNT 527
MPT PAGE COUNT 131
COLOR PAGE COUNT 2061
MONO PAGE COUNT 1319

The numbers above are examples only and are not representative of an actual count from a printer.

TOTAL PAGE COUNT - This counter only counts pages that have physically been ejected from the printer.

TRAY 1 PAGE COUNT
TRAY 2 PAGE COUNT
TRAY 3 PAGE COUNT
TRAY 4 PAGE COUNT
TRAY 5 PAGE COUNT
MPT PAGE COUNT

These counters refer to the number of pages fed from their respective trays. The sum of these counters will not match the TOTAL PAGE COUNT as the TOTAL PAGE COUNT does not include (count) pages that have jammed and were removed before exiting the printer.

COLOR PAGE COUNT
MONOCHROME PAGE COUNT
The color and monochrome page counts are the number of pages printed in their respective modes.

Example of a printed document: A duplexed color page will be counted as 2 pages against the COLOR PAGE COUNT, where it will only count as 1 page from TRAY 1 PAGE COUNT and 1 page from the TOTAL PAGE COUNT).

Notes: All page sizes (8.5 x 11, 12 x 18, etc..) count as 1 page against all of the above counters, unless duplexed. If a page is duplexed, regardless of the page size, it will count as 1 page against the TOTAL & TRAY counters but it counts as 2 pages against the COLOR or MONO counts.
The COLOR PAGE COUNT & MONO PAGE COUNT can be reset by doing a FLASH INITIALIZE under the MEMORY MENU.
