The attention light will blink and the printer remains in the error condition although no paper jams can be found. This indicates that there may be a paper jam in the internal duplexer area. NOTE: The simplex version of the HP LaserJet 2200 printer family (base model number C7064A) supports manual duplexing only. Perrform the following to clear the paper jam. Turn the printer off and remove the power cord. Fully remove Tray 2. Locate the green duplexer pan lever/latch. (Figure 1) Figure1: Duplexer pan lever/latch
NOTE: The duplexer pan lever/latch may be difficult to locate. It is located near the front left underside of the printer. The lever/latch is the only green part on the underside of the printer when Tray 2 is removed. (Figure 1) Pull the lever/latch towards the front of the printer in the same direction that Tray 2 is removed to lower the duplexer pan. Locate the jammed paper and remove. Close the duplexer pan by pressing it upward, towards the printer, until the pan is engaged with the latch. Reinstall Tray 2. Reinsert the power cord and power on the printer. © 2005 Hewlett-Packard
