"RAM CHECK" error message

The operator panel or the status monitor will display a "RAM CHECK" error message. The printer will not complete the initialization cycle.

1. Optional memory error condition OR
2. Low voltage power supply failure

If the printer has additional memory, remove the memory and reboot the printer. If the printer initializes, the ram memory may be defective. Try reseating the optional memory, if unit fails to initialize, memory option is defective.

If the printer does not have any additional memory, this "RAM CHECK" condition is probably being caused by a low voltage power supply problem. It is recommended to replace the low voltage power supply - part number 41991601.
