Printed Pages Have a Single, Wide Strip of Missing Color or Text Down the Length of the Page

HP Color LaserJet 2600n, 3500 and 3700 Printer Series 

 In rare cases, you may experience a single, wide, white strip down the length of the page. This may be due to the deformation of the static comb, resulting in cutting away of the T1 roller inside the ETB. This can occur in any color, but just one color at a time. See the example below.

Replace the ETB.

NOTE: This issue can also be caused by an object blocking the laser path. Ensure the laser shutter area is clear before replacing the ETB.
