Order Transfer Kit Less with Less than 2000 Pages

HP Color LaserJet 3500 and 3700 Printer Series - The Printer Displays an "Order Transfer Kit Less with Less than 2000 Pages" Message with a New Transfer Kit Installed

Customers may experience an ORDER TRANSFER KIT LESS THAN 2000 PAGES message when the ITB is still new or recently replaced. This can be due to the following:

Toner packed tightly in the light pipe
A broken light pipe (see photo below)

If there is toner in the light pipe, please make sure it is not due to a full toner waste tub, otherwise gently knock the toner back into the toner hopper, and reinstall the ITB. If the light pipe is broken, replace the ITB.
