No Print or Blank Pages

Nothing would print.

When trying to print a configuration page or when printing from the PC, a blank page would eject and the control panel reads "Printing Configuration Page". The printer hangs with the lights flashing and the message on the control panel.

Look to see if the formatter is fully seated. (Top latch is in the up position; bottom latch is in the down position.) Remove the formatter and reinsert, ensuring the latches are in the proper place and you can hear the "click" when they are seated properly.

Check that all the prongs for the connector between the formatter and DC Controller are in place and not bent or missing.

Remove the formatter. Print an engine test page. If the page prints, check the insertion of the formatter again. If blank pages still occur, replace the formatter.
