Toner Save and Darkness Control Setting Change in B4000 Series Driver

Change the printer darkness setting in the B4000 series, as compared to the Okipage 14 series. Below is a screen shot of the Okipage 14 series print driver.

Notice that the Printer Darkness control bar is located along side of the Toner Save setting, under the "Quality" tab.

Below is a screen shot of the B4000 series driver. Within the "Job Options" tab, the toner save feature is displayed, but in order to get to the "Printer Darkness" control bar, click on the "Advanced" button. In addition to other selections in this area, to affect print darkness, check the "Printer Darkness" box, then adjust the pointer to the desired setting.

If the toner save setting appears too light, or the printer darkness needs to be changed, it is important to keep in mind that these settings work together, and will affect the overall appearance of the printout. Use printer darkness to affect normal print darkness, use the toner save setting to save toner, but remember that one will affect the other, when making any changes.
