Printer Hangs After Printing a Job From MacOS 10.1 and Higher or States that Data is Present

Symptom:
When printing a job that contains more than simple text from a MacOS 10.1 or higher system, the printer will print the job but hang up displaying a DATA.PS or DATA.PSE message. The only way to clear the message is to power cycle the printer.

Unknown

Resolution:
Under the SYSTEM CONFIG MENU make the following to changes: 1. Change the PERSONALITY to POSTSCRIPT

2. Change the USB PS-PROTOCOL to ASCII

3. After changing the setting on the printer, power cycle the printer.
