Double-click on the desktop icon for the printer to open the Print Queue. Often this icon will be labeled with the printer's name.

At the bottom of the Print Queue will be listed all the jobs currently in the queue.

Click on any job that needs to be cleared and click the Trash icon at the top of the queue. This will delete the print job.

There are two methods to access the Print Queue in OS X.

1. The first is to click on the icon for the printer in the Doc (a iconic menu bar at the bottom of the screen by default).

2. The second is to open the Print Center, in OS 10.2.8 and earlier, or the Printer Setup Utility, in OS 10.3 and later, and then double-click on the listing for the printer. To open either of these utilities:

   • Double-click the HD icon, by default labeled Macintosh HD.
   • Double-click the Applications folder.
   • Double-click the Utilities folder.
   • Double-click Print Center or Printer Setup Utility.

At the bottom of the Print Queue will be listed all the jobs currently in the queue (In OS 10.4 and later you may need to click on Active to see the current jobs in queue).

Click on job that needs to be cleared and click the Delete icon at the top of the queue. This will delete the print job.

If more than one job needs to be deleted, hold the Shift Key and click each one that needs to be deleted once to highlight, and then click the Delete icon.

To restart the Print Queue, if it is stopped, click the Start Jobs icon to the right of the Delete, Hold, and Resume icons.
