MacOS Network Printer install

Install a printer into a MacOS network envrionment.

Action: Open the "Chooser"

Click on either AdobePS or the Laserwriter 8 Icon

All available Networked Ethertalk printers will be listed in the right hand pane

Click on the "Create" button and the following screen will be displayed with several options

Click on "Auto Setup" and the Mac will attempt to communicate with the printer. If it is successfull it will gather the Printers Info, Select the correct PPD, and Configure the installed options

If the MacOS is unable to communicate with the printer properly the following screen will be displayed

Select the appropriate PPD file for your printer, and then click on the "Select" button

A desktop printer icon will now appear
