Printer prints slow with Windows XP

Check to see if the customer has recently installed Windows XP. XP automatically runs ProRes. All you have to do is check the Printer Driver and set it at Fast-Res. It doesn't matter what the priner is set at, the driver has to be set too.

Open start button, double click on your printer/fax symbol, right click on the  printer driver for printer properties. The screen will display all adjustments that can be made to the printer. Select "Printing Preferences" next to the "Print Test Page Button" Go into the advanced set-up. Your next display will show paper size and so on. Here under XP it will show 1200DPI. Just click it and set it at 600 Dpi which is Fast-Res.
