When printing to Tray 1, the printer displays a Manual Feed request.

The print job most likely contains an upper tray command and by default, the B6100 Manual feeder is set to off. This setting cause the manual feeder to be treated as the Upper Tray.

In the printers Paper Menu, turn Manual Feed to "ON"

This symptom is usually found with applications that are not using the Oki B6100 driver, such as Oracle, Unix etc. When the B6100 driver is being used this condition should not be experienced.
