E-label cannot be read or print cartridge is not properly installed. This issue can occur with any of the toner cartridges when the toner cartridge e-label can be read. The errors for the other toner cartridges are as follows: 10.0000 Black cartridge e-label error 10.0001 Cyan cartridge e-label error 10.0002 Magenta cartridge e-label error 10.0003 Yellow cartridge e-label error
Open the front cover of printer and remove the toner cartridge that is exhibiting error. Inspect the toner cartridge to ensure the e-label reader is attached to toner cartridge and is not damaged. Inspect the inside of printer to verify the e-label does not having any product packing tape still attached to it. Inspect the e-label reader to ensure the gold contact points are not damaged or bent. Also inspect the black plastic on e-label reader to ensure it is not bent or broken. Reinstall the magenta print cartridge. Power cycle the device. If the reinstalling the print cartridge does not resolve the issue, replace the suspect toner print cartridge.
