Free Software from OKI® Printing Solutions Delivers Customized, Hassle-Free Internet Printing

Oki Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI® Printing Solutions brand, today announced its new WebPrint solution that solves the hassle of Internet printing with user-friendly options, including automatic scaling of Internet pages to fit the width of standard paper. Saving businesses time, money and paper, the free customized software plug-in for Internet Explorer 6.0 is compatible with all current color and monochrome printers from OKI Printing Solutions.

Available via www.okiprintingsolutions.com/webprint from February 6th, WebPrint is the latest example of the commitment of OKI Printing Solutions to optimize printing capabilities for its customers. Once WebPrint is installed, users have the option to either display the small navigation toolbar or keep it hidden, not interfering with work space but allowing users to quickly customize, review and print web pages on any Internet site with a few simple clicks.

WebPrint offers users the following advantages and features:

• Prevents right margins from being cropped without manually modifying printer settings
• Changes the layout of printed pages with its manual scaling function to print more on a single page or eliminate pages that contain a single line of text
• Adapts frame printing from a drop down menu to print selected frames, frames on individual pages or as laid out on the screen
• Customizes the header, footer, paper orientation and margin options with the redesigned page setup
• Eliminates reformatting with its select printing feature taking only highlighted text and selected images from desired sites
• Prints on both sides of the paper. For printers with capabilities to print double-sided, users can immediately access the feature from WebPrint’s toolbar. Users who have printers without this option can simply purchase the appropriate duplexer prior to utilizing this feature.

Once customization is completed on desired web pages, the revised Internet pages can be viewed with WebPrint’s enhanced print preview menu. It offers users the ability to view exactly what will be printed in an effort to eliminate unnecessary trial-printing and reformatting.
