Fatal Error 020 on Operator Panel

Symptom:
Fatal Error 020 is displayed on the operator panel.

Cause:
When an error has occurred in the controller board (CU) or the program Rom.

Resolution:
Replace the Rom Dimm, see chart below for the correct part number. If the Rom Dimm does not correct the issue, then replace the (CU) controller board. Please refer to the service manual for (CU) part number depending on the printer revision. See below to determine which revision printer you have, based on the printers serial number:

ORIGINAL S/N FORMAT - 310A1234567 in this example the A indicates the revision (A).

NEW S/N FORMAT - AF3B000001C0 in this example the B indicates the revision (B).
