A watermark is a symbol or word, such as "Confidential," that is printed in the background of each page of a document. To use an existing watermark To use an existing watermark perform the following steps: Open the printer driver. From the Effects tab, click the Watermarks drop-down list. Click the watermark that is to be used. If the watermark is needed to appear only on the first page of the document, click First Page Only. Click OK. The product is now set to print the watermark that was selected. To create or edit a watermark If running the printer driver from the server, administrative rights will be needed in order to save new watermarks. Open the printer driver. From the Effects tab, click Edit. Click on Edit from within the Watermark Details window. Select the desired watermark options. Click OK. From the Effects tab, click First Page Only if desired. Click OK. To remove the watermark To remove the watermark, click (none) in the Watermarks drop-down list. © 2005 Hewlett-Packard
