Color Leader Oki Data Americas Announces Rebranding, Boldly Enters Color MFP Space, Launches New Tabloid Digital Color Printers

The rebranding announced today changes the brand name from OKI® to OKI Printing Solutions, reflecting the company’s focus on providing superior products, services and solutions. The company made the branding change in concert with other subsidiaries of Oki Data Corporation of Japan, all of which are operated by Tokyo-based parent company Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. “With every product, service and solution that we offer, we leverage the power of our global resources as international innovators in the peripherals industry. • The ES3640e MFP from OKI Printing Solutions, the ideal digital network performer for medium- and large-sized workgroups, with a print speed up to 36 pages per minute (ppm) in color and 40 ppm in monochrome2, today became one of the fastest high-resolution color LED MFPs on the market. With embedded EFI® Fiery® technology, its color excellence is unmatched on the competitive landscape.
• The ES1624n MFP from OKI Printing Solutions, the clear answer for small- or medium-sized workgroups looking to replace multiple machines with one reliable performer. The versatile, network-ready color MFP offers a wide range of “scan-to” capabilities.
• The C5510n MFP from OKI Printing Solutions, a compact communications center that enables desktop convenience for a single user, easy walk-up copying, high-quality PC and network scanning, and fast network printing for multiple users. The digital color printers launched today represent the next generation of across-the-board enhancements within the company’s award-winning C9300/C9500 Series.
• The C9800 Series from OKI Printing Solutions, powered by EFI Fiery technology, enables commercial print shop performance, consistency and accuracy for color-centric large workgroups. With superior resolution, the series is the ideal solution for producing a wide range of documents on a variety of media types up to 270 grams per square meter (gsm). A host of improvements over the popular, heavilyawarded C9300/C9500 Series will allow end-users to transcend current color output capabilities.
• The C9600 Series from OKI Printing Solutions, the ideal performers for busy workgroups that need flexibility in their printing requirements. When printing presentations, reports, brochures, promotional materials or banners, the C9600 Series printers perform efficiently and affordably. To ensure color consistency and accuracy of output, the C9600 Series printers are available with color matching software from OKI Printing Solutions.
