Removing the Duplexer

Remove the Duplexer from the printer.

1. Power the printer Off. 2. Remove the Paper Tray completely from the printer and set aside.

3. Open the Front Cover Door. ( See Picture # 1 )

4. Looking to the bottom right of this door, you will see the knotch that holds the door in. (See Picture # 2)

Push this tab inwards and then pull the entire door towards you to remove it.

5. Pull on the two blue marked handles and slide the duplexer half way out of the printer.
You will see metal bars on both sides of the duplexer.

6. Located on the very back end of each metal bar is a small black tab. (See Picture # 3 & 3A)

7. Pull this tab toward you to disengage and continue sliding the bar towards you and out of the printer,
then repeat for the other side.

8. Reinstall the Front Cover door and paper tray, then power the printer back On.
